Crimson Creative Challenge # 144

Crispina is the host of Crimson Creative Challenge

Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN

Sitting here in the shade, I look out to the golden-lit fields. Looking back I see my life passing in a blur. The youth spent in the sunlight, enjoying myself with friends and working only when I had to. But the sun doesn’t shine all the time. Gradually it started to set, and now I am in the shade. Like the grasshopper of the nursery rhyme, I have wasted my youth and now I feel regrets of the time wasted.

I look at these golden-lit fields and feel the urge to make better use of the time left for me. Maybe it’s not too late to amend my ways!

  1. As it is said, “if I only had known then what I know now.” But here I am, lessons learned the hard way. Today is so much better than yesterday and the future…who knows what it will bring. But I will live it day by day, taking it as it comes.
