Sue W and GC are the hosts of Weekly Prompts
“On the straight and narrow path, there are simply no corners to be cut.” ~ Neal A. Maxwell.
This week the Weekend Challenge from partner GC and me is Straight or Narrow.
As always our challenge is flexible – feel free to interpret in any way you wish – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.

I try to walk on the straight path
Ignoring the tempting side distractions
As they tell you the margin of error is narrow here
For once you fall away from the path, getting back is a challenge
With practice, it becomes more of a habit than struggle
Deviating is then more distressing than following
I choose the straight path as my way of life
Because the shortest distance between two points is a straight line
