One Minute Fiction Challenge – July 14

Cranny is hosting this challenge

She says; What’s the ”One Minute Fiction” challenge about?

Easy. Each week I’ll provide a prompt to inspire you to write a very short story. The idea is to manage to type your whole story in a minute or less. Of course, you can think about it before hitting the keyboard, and you can take all your time to edit it afterwards…

Just make sure to tag your story with #1MinFiction, and create a pingback to my week’s challenge post, so I can easily find it!

So, here is this week’s picture;

I always saw her on the bench in the park with a book in her hand. But not today. A couple of books were lying there, wet from the morning dew but she was not there. I went and looked around and saw a note under the books. Hesitantly, I took it out and read it;

“Help me, my life is in danger!”

I was thinking what I could do to help her when someone or something hit the back of my head and everything went black.
