Your Weekly Prompt Network – July 8, 2021

♾♾♾

We all need our support network around us when we face difficult situations. Family and/or friends are so helpful with their support and advice. I, for one, cannot imagine being without my support network.

At times I turn to my family for support and advice and at other times, it’s my friends who provide comfort. This network is essential to maintain sanity and balanced views on life and overcoming the tricky challenges.

Without outside support, we can and do get overwhelmed, we lose our objectivity, and can make wrong decisions and choices. A person or group that has our best interest at heart can guide us through this maze of uncertainty. I rely on the advice of my support network because I know in a state of emotional distress, I can make mistakes.

Do you have a support network? Do you trust your family more with your problems or your friends?

  1. I think most of us would be truly hurt, confused and disappointed if we didn’t have a safe network. I rely on them to lift my spirits and help me out out of tight spots too. Great take, my dear friend ❤️🤗😊

  2. I don’t have a large network. I have a few good friends, and my daughters for important life stuff.
I also have my network of Blogging Buddies for the lighter, day to day stuff.
Humans are social beings and we need a society or network, if only in small doses😉🥰🌻🐝

  3. So very true, Sadje. With family, friends (in-person and virtual, like the blogosphere), coworkers; and, each of these networks function a little differently, yet they are all about supporting each other. Lovely.

  4. I have a small handful of friends and family whom I feel safe confiding in. I have learned not to trust everyone, there are those who don’t value discretion. I liked this one Sadje!
