Fandango is hosting this new challenge
Here’s how it’s going to work. Every Tuesday morning (my time), I’m going to give you an incomplete “teaser” sentence and your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to build a story (poetry or prose) around that partial sentence. It doesn’t have to be the first sentence in your story, and you don’t even have to use it in your post at all if you don’t want to. The purpose of the teaser is simply to spark your imagination and to get your storytelling juices flowing
This week’s teaser is:
Don’t you dare come any closer…
Big bro, Charlie was such a naughty boy. He would invent new ways to tease and make life difficult for his little sister, Jane. Today he thought of a hilarious way to tease her.
He knew that Jane loves chocolates. He bought her the ones she liked best and left them in a place where the bright sunlight melted them to a liquid consistency. Then he left the super melted chocolates where she could find them easily.
When Jane saw the chocolate bars, she immediately grabbed them, and without noticing that they were literally in a liquid state she opened one up. The oozy chocolate started dripping out of the wrapper. She, nonetheless, sucked it out of the partially opened wrapper, and knew instantly that it was her brother’s doing.
Now an ingenious plan came to her mind. After she had finished sucking out most of the chocolate, she smeared the rest onto her hands.
When Charlie saw her he ran away from her saying, don’t you dare come any closer!
