Lake Quinault, WA ,2019
It was a very pleasant summer day, a cool breeze blowing and we were on our way to Clallam bay. We took a break and had some lunch by the lakeside. There were people around, children playing and some families were boating on the lake.
What stood out the most from that day on the lake was the sense of serenity and calm that I experienced there. The absence of noise from busy roads or city life made me feel like I was cut off from the normal busy life.
A beautiful place to visit. Unfortunately, we didnโt have enough time to explore the locality more due to the shortage of time.
My heartfelt thanks to all these wonderful participants. Please click on the links to read their contributions.

I feel like it’s the beginning of a murder mystery, or a tragic tale about someone’s terminal illness. Is that really morbid? lol

Not morbid. Sometimes things can create that mood. Thanks for visiting

What a coincidence!
I posted about serenity for this week’s Whatdoyousee.
It will be live in a couple of hours.
Sounds like a great trip you had there pre pandemic.

Sadje, There are always those places where we would have liked to have spent a few more moments. I’d gone for just an overnight to a beach area. Usually I take images of sunsets, but this area was ripe for sunrise moment – I did take some photos of the sunrise in series. One of these days I might take them and make a wall hanging for my hall… One needs to be careful looking into the sun though. It was relaxing as it was at an hour where not many were out. ๐

Must be so relaxing for you. I love early mornings and if I get to see the sunrise thatโs a wonderful bonus.

I’m usually not a morning person. But most of the places we have visited the sunsets were more the norm. Even short respites help ๐
