5 Things Tuesday- Jams

Tanya is the host of 5 Things Tuesday

This week Tanya asks us about our favorite jams/ preserves

Strawberry Jam;

I really love strawberry jam, specially homemade one. It’s easy to make and can keep for some time in the fridge. Love it on toasted bread or croissants

Black current jam;

Another favorite which goes well with cream and toast or on top of pancakes.

Grape jelly;

Fruit jelly goes so well with peanut butter. I have tried it both on bread and toast as well.

English marmalade;

This is not as bitter as the regular one and I like it best in my bread and butter pudding.

Guava jelly;

I love it because it reminds me of my childhood and my grandma. She used to make this when our guava trees were full of fruit.

These are my favorite spreads. What are yours?

  1. I’ve never had guava jelly. It sounds yummy! I like guava juice. Hmmmm… I’m going to have to look for that. I’ve never had black currants in any form. I think I need to expand my Jam horizons😉🤗🥰

  2. Raspberry and blueberry jams are my favorites – I cannot pick just one. I love them both, wild raspberries or blueberries are wonderfully scrumptious! I’ve never had guava jam, is it sweet or tart or a combination of both?

  3. Oh wow. Those Jams look so good. I’ve only ever made strawberry. I love grape jelly the best but have never tried making it homemade.
