What do you see # 80 – A Roundup

Plans to travel
Plans to see the wonders of this world
All held on abeyance, we need to wait for the time
When it’s safe for us to venture out and explore
When we would be free again to step out
To a world that’s no longer hostile to human beings
A world where our transgressions are forgiven
And we are let out of our self-constructed cages
And then maybe.......
We can visit the Sphinx of Giza
Or the Taj Mahal
Or the gay city of Paris

For the past few weeks, I have shared images of iconic places where I would like to visit one day. Sphinx is one of the wonders of the world that I long to see. So this poem reflects my desire to roam the planet freely!

Perhaps one day!

  1. There are indeed many places we have been shuttered from. I would like to go back to Italy. I got to see the outside of the Colosseum. And I did get to marvel at Pompeii. 😀
May all our wishes of exploration take us off of our armchairs and out of our homes… eventually.
