Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN

♾♾♾

She left it here, as a marker. She hoped that he would see it and understand why she had to leave.

A white feather, much like a white flag a symbol of peace and surrender. She has flown away to warmer climes but left an offering, a token of her soul for him to find and accept her need to be with her own kind.

Next day people saw another feather has joined the white one, this one was black together they looked good.

Loving someone can also mean giving them up!

          1. Not too bad so far, thanks. The GLYSB departed on time, I’m having my coffee and waiting for the morning clouds to burn off a little so I can go for my walk. Everything is prettier when the Sun is out.

Are you excited to be home for Eid? I imagine it won’t be quite the same with the spike in cases, but still better than last year.

            1. That’s good. Yes, I am excited to be home for Eid with all of my children and their children together. It will be a family affair but it’s been great to have them all near me. Thanks my friend. Hope you’ve a wonderful day. And a lovely walk.

  1. I know someone who believes that feathers are messages from those who have passed on. I just enjoy seeing feathers. I’ve a white one in my front garden that I’ve yet to pick up. I like the way it looks there 😀 Maybe the ants and other insects will be able to use it somehow?

    I enjoyed your story.
