#WritePhoto- Dinosaur

KL Caley is the host of WritePhoto

Welcome to the weekly #writephoto prompt!

Creeping out of the trees
what do you see,
a Dinosaur I hear you say
Well, how can that be?

I can’t wait to read your entries with this one, I think it could prove a challenge!

The Dinosaur – Image by KL Caley

For visually challenged writers, the image shows a red metal dinosaur in amongst the trees, beside a clearing.

Gramps had the perfect spot in mind for today’s excursion. Taking all five of the little ones, he drove them to the new park.

The kids were very very excited as they helped gramps carry the picnic basket and the blanket to a space near the trees. Johnny and Lisa were the adventurous ones and they ran away to explore the park. Soon they were heard shouting and calling to Gramps to come quickly.

He strode over at a leisurely pace. The rest of the kids followed him. There they saw it, the red dinosaur. With squeals of pleasure, the kids tried to climb the pole-like limbs of the metal structure.

Gramps seated himself beneath a shady tree and enjoyed their antics.

On the way back, in the evening, he had to promise to bring them back here next Sunday as well.

    1. Thank you so much Angie. Some grandparents are like that. I remember my maternal grandfather taking the three of us to book store so that we could buy coloring books and supplies. Fond memories.
