Quotes are great fun. You can see how I quadruple-dipped here with one post. Make your post count for the most visibility and have fun with it.
If you respond to this #WQWWC prompt – Travel, leave me a link in the comment section. I don’t always get pingbacks. I love it when you do that, too, but I have missed people and I hate to do that.

You can copy, paste and edit this little logo in your own post and add my link each week to the url and have an automatic pingback. Or just add it if you think its a good logo. Canva is my graphic artistic consultant.

First of all let me admit, I don’t think I’m very adventurous. I like my comfortable routine and physical endeavor makes me all stressed out and tired.
But luckily I have had lots of opportunities to travel and see some parts of this wonderful world.

“To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries.”
– Aldous Huxley

Back in 2015, my daughter moved to Seattle from Pakistan to study for her Doctorate. I moved with her to help her settle in. This was the beginning of my adventure. I learned a lot about this country and her people. And I traveled a lot because my daughter loves to travel and explore new places.
We visited east coast and drove around many states. We also visited New York a couple of times and really enjoyed these visits.
In 2019 we explored Washington state and had a lovely time.

I’m glad you got to travel around the US when you were here. I’ve been lucky enough to have visited 48 of the 50 states, leaving Maine and North Dakota yet to see. Was also fortunate to visit London, Germany and Holland. Maybe I’ll be able to travel again soon.

Yes, I was. And I used to travel to and from Seattle to Lahore at least once a year and sometimes twice. I got to see a lot of Dubai airport, and London too.
I hope you can travel after vaccination and travel restrictions are lifted.

I imagine there is quite a difference between Lahore and Seattle!
I’ve been through most of the western part of the US. I’d like to see more! And there are many places in the world I like to visit. 💃🏼
Beautiful pictures and awesome quotes!!

Thanks a lot Angie.
There’s a world of difference. But I did enjoy my stay and the traveling to and fro. I don’t have the wanderlust but still I loved Istanbul and would like to visit again with family.

Eventually we will. With vaccination getting more accessible to everyone, it looks like that things may be more “ normal-ish” by the end of this year.

For someone who is not adventurous, Sadje, you get around! Your photo under the Huxley quote is spectacular. Is that the one from Washington? Where is it? It is perfectly framed with the tree. Great quotes and photos. I’m glad your daughter went to Seattle. It’s a beautiful place. 🙂 Thanks for joining in. Fabulous post! 🙂

This photo was taken in Neah bay, at the uppermost north of Washington state. We were just across from Vancouver.
I’m glad that I had a lot of adventure and traveled with my daughter and grandson. Thanks Marsha, it was a lovely prompt.

Did you ever get over to Canada and see Butchart Gardens?

Nopes, I didn’t have the visa and my daughter was busy with her studies. Maybe we will travel again after this pandemic settles down.

I hope you will come to Arizona, too. You won’t need a visa to go from state to state. There is so much to see here. You’d love it. It’s so different from Seattle.
