Michael is the host of Sunday Writing Prompt for the last time.

My prompt this week is to write your response to the phrase, “The End of the Road.”
♾♾♾
At last, the end was in sight!
It had taken them ages to achieve their goal
But finally, they could see the end of the road
They laid down the heavy burden they had been carrying
Wiped down the sweat from their shiny brows and
Felt the joy of having successfully completed their task
The leader walked up to each of them separately
And gave words of praise to them, lauding their fortitude
“Okay now boys, we need to pitch the tents and make camp”
A collective groan went up in the air!

There is always more to the road…even at the end of it.

That’s true. No journey is done till we are done.

This is a lovely cheery piece and a great photo. I love heading into the wilderness and pitching my basic tent so I can live with the creature amid nature for a few days.

You truely must. Its the most relaxing time you’ll have. I always go with bare essentials, no technology accept an emergency phone and just absorb the serenity of nature. It’s almost meditative.

End of the road is there really one
This can be a huge debate
Not having an end in sight keeps you striving for more
Not having an end in sight can also be exhausting
It may seem as though you are never arriving
Having a vision for the end of the road means
Yiou can stop one project and start the next

How right you are Lisa. If the end is not in sight, it can get exhausting and disheartening
