It has a keen piercing look
As if it can read my thoughts
I see kindness and understanding there
As if it can sympathize with my troubles
As if it’s saying, I am free to fly wherever I please
You are home bound, itching to be free
I was gifted with wings to fly, you with a brain
You’ve shackled your kind more with thoughtless ways
It’s not too late to change your ways, it says
Look after the planet and it will reward you with freedom

I agree! Nature, just being, has a better idea of what living is than we do!

We can learn so much from Nature, if only we would listen. Lovely piece, Sadje!
