One Minute Fiction- 17th March

Cranny is hosting this challenge

What’s the ”One Minute Fiction” challenge about?

Easy. Each week I’ll provide a prompt to inspire you to write a very short story. The idea is to manage to type your whole story in a minute or less. Of course, you can think about it before hitting the keyboard, and you can take all your time to edit it afterwards…

Just make sure to tag your story with #1MinFiction, and create a pingback to my week’s challenge post, so I can easily find it!

So, here is this week’s picture;

I usually don’t like to eat by myself, but I was alone for lunch yesterday. My friends were busy. As I sat alone, my eyes strayed to a tree near my table. A bird was keenly eyeing the fries that came with my burger. I held out a fry to it but it of course refused to take the bait. I paid up and left a few fries on my table. I waited by the roadside, and sure enough, it came to investigate, flying away with a piece in its beak. And I got a perfect picture for my blog.

  1. I like your take on the photo!😍🌻✨

    I can see Georgie waiting and waiting for Gracie to join him for lunch. He got tired of waiting, and ate his meal, thinking that if she didn’t hurry, he would eat hers too. That napkin over her plate wouldn’t stop him.😉😂😂
