What do you see # 72 – A Roundup

Let me rest a while

I feel so drained and tired

The day has been long and has taken its toll

Very soon I would be home, cooking the evening meal

A women’s job is never done

She wears so many hats

Always taken for granted

Maybe one day they’ll realize

My true worth

  1. Too many hats, that’s exactly right! I think this is why women empathize with each other so well. We always have something in common, even if it’s just the daily dilemma of what to cook for supper! Another great week, Sadje 🙂

  2. Thanks for the nod Sadje! I’ll watch for today’s new prompt, but it might be tomorrow before I do it, as I have a doctor’s appointment and have to leave shortly. I’m hoping the appointment doesn’t take the better part of the day too!
