One Minute Fiction- 3rd March, 2021

Cranny is hosting this challenge

What’s the ”One Minute Fiction” challenge about?

Easy. Each week I’ll provide a prompt to inspire you to write a very short story. The idea is to manage to type your whole story in a minute or less. Of course, you can think about it before hitting the keyboard, and you can take all your time to edit it afterwards…

Just make sure to tag your story with #1MinFiction, and create a pingback to my week’s challenge post, so I can easily find it!

So, here is this week’s picture;

At last!

The plane was about to land, and I was going to be home!

Six months I had to wait for the lockdown restrictions to be relaxed and the flights to resume for my country. Six times flights rescheduled and four alternate booking canceled.

I was glad to be finally getting home. One last hurdle, before I can meet my family, I had to test negative for covid.

  1. Great take on the picture. There are probably thousands of people wishing they could fly “home” wherever it might be. Being separated from family is tough.

    1. Thanks Larry. It was not fiction. I was in the USA when the pandemic started and came home to Pakistan after six months as there were no flights back home from Seattle.
