I am sharing this post from March 2020, it was the beginning of the lockdown, as a part of Fandango Friday Flashback
I see countless branches, bare
Waiting for spring to put some buds
And leaves to cover their nakedness
It will happen when the time is right
Patience is an art we learn when we wait
For nature to act, changing winter into spring
The amount of time may vary every year
This year things may be difficult
Eerie and frightening, but spring will arrive
And flowers will bloom like always
Break out of the fearful and somber mood
Put a smile on your face while you wait
For the crisis to be over, for the world to right itself
In response to the following prompts;
3TC;
FOWC;
RDP;
Word of the day Challenge;

It is amazing that this entire year we have become experts at patience. Nice job reminding us of when it began, Spring is back again with so much hope this year.

It is really wonderful how adaptable humans are. We do crib and complain but be are going through the tough time valiantly.

Hi Sadje, It is interesting to go back to last March and how we were unaware how the future will unfold (of course, never certain about our future). Creative and seamlessly fitting in your word prompts. Sharing a great message. Nature seems to reset our planet.π

Itβs staggering to think what has happened and just how brittle our world actually was.

For me, Spring is always filled with anticipation. Last year held more uncertainty than anticipation.
Your poem reminded me that Nature has her own schedule, and we must wait until she’s ready πΊπ»π¦π₯°π
