Paula has asked us to share something we love, for each day of the month of February.
For my # 27 love, I choose;
My Kindle
I love reading and have lots and lots of books. When one is traveling a lot, carrying books is not easy. They weigh too much and take up lots of space.
Two years ago my elder daughter gifted me, my first kindle. I became hooked on it. Now I have an extensive Kindle library and have read countless books on kindle unlimited as well. It weighs a few ounces and just needs a charging cable.

I tried to love mine, but missed real books. I know there is space in the world for both )

Indeed there is. I often pick up one of my favorite old books. For newer ones, though this is better option.

A library in your hand sounds wonderful.

Indeed. Specially when I am traveling. It’s also good when I’m reading at night. Doesn’t disturbs my husband

I love my kindle too. Without it I wouldn’t be able to read, only listen which is not quite the same. I can’t hold an actual book so the kindle is the next best thing

I know it offers much (I did have one once) however, it doesn’t compare to the smell, heft, turning the pages with your hand, the texture of the paper and the excitement of reading those last few pages and close the cover.

You’re right, reading a paper book is much more fun than kindle. But holding heavy books cause pain in my wrists and carrying them while traveling is expensive.

Oh sorry for your pain. Yes, I didn’t think of that for I usually will take a paperback when traveling.

I also love roaming the library shelves, reading the jackets.

I haven’t been to a library in ages! I miss doing that

I love paper books, but I also love the convenience of ebooks. I have discovered that dozing off with a tablet and whacking myself in the face hurts equally with a hard cover, paper book🙄😂

Haha! Whacking yourself is equally painful with kindle too. 😂
Convenience is the major selling point for me too.

I’ve never owned a kindle, yet do really enjoy my iPad. 😊

I still love the feel of a real book in my hands… that being said I do read using the kindle app on my phone and computer some.

I do too but there’s a lot of convenience attached to kindle.
