I feel the need to reinforce my point of view again and again

Because I value my own reputation as well as that of my business

The employees stood and listened quietly to this spiel

No one smirked or rolled their eyes in defiance

This was the routine of Mr. Hubbart at the start of every day

The fact that he practiced what he preached was the cause

That all his employees, young or old respected him

And perhaps too, the fact that he was kind and generous to a fault
