Friday is the day…….

As I have mentioned in my earlier posts, I have been suffering from an infection in my gut. I was treated by a multi-faceted antibiotic regimen and am feeling much better now. In fact almost normal……… But

During the search for a diagnosis for my stomach infection, I found out that I also have several stones in my gallbladder.

Now, these aren’t doing me any harm just sitting there quietly in my gallbladder. But as they are numerous in number and one of them is residing in the neck of the gallbladder, the surgeon has deemed it advisable to get it removed.

The procedure is simple and quick. It will be an hour long and there’s an overnight stay at the hospital. I probably will be away from my blog for a day. So I hope to be able to see your posts on Saturday afternoon.

Till then,

Ciao

  1. I know it’ll be a few days before you feel quite yourself again, as surgery (however minor) does take it out of a person. But the gallbladder removal is a minor thing now and there aren’t even any big scars involved. I’m glad you could get this done. Stay safe and we’ll see you soon! ❀

    1. Thanks Sue. It went well thank God. But I was expecting that I’d be normal the next day, well it didn’t go that way. It may take me a couple of days.
