Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge #103 – Falling

FlashFictionWelcome to “Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge.”

The image below is from Tim Grundtner at Pexels.com.For the visually challenged writer, the photo shows a girl wearing a white dress and sneakers who seems to be floating on her back in midair in an attic.

➰➰➰➰➰➰➰

She fell, but never touched the floor

Was this falling in love, she thought

Love gave her buoyancy, cushioned her fall

Floating on the euphoria, she let herself go

It felt as if love had given her wings

➰➰➰➰➰➰➰

(Or was it the red bull she had been drinking?)

Sorry couldn’t resist the cheeky humor!
