One Minute Fiction- January 13th

Cranny is hosting this challenge

What’s the ”One Minute Fiction” challenge about?

Easy. Each week I’ll provide a prompt to inspire you to write a very short story. The idea is to manage to type your whole story in a minute or less. Of course, you can think about it before hitting the keyboard, and you can take all your time to edit it afterwards…

Just make sure to tag your story with #1MinFiction, and create a pingback to my week’s challenge post, so I can easily find it!

So, here is this week’s picture;

George was very proud of his new holiday hut. He even had a slice of riverside for himself. He couldn’t afford much but got two old wooden chairs and a table for his deck. And to make sure no one stole his stuff, he tied a rope and anchored all the furniture to the floor.

Now only he and his guest could enjoy the river here.

  1. I actually won a couple of those Adirondack chairs from a local super market. But they are a bit awkward to lug down to the creek every time I’d want to use them. So I just sit on the stone bench my elder child got for me one Mother’s Day. 🙂
