Welcome to the 9th week of this challenge.
We all have something that we are missing and have not been able to do for the last 9 – 10 months because of lockdown restrictions.
I’m looking forward to eating out at restaurants with my friends when the lockdown restrictions end.
It was a regular practice of ours to eat out at least once a month. But since the pandemic, we haven’t been able to do so. That is one thing I am missing a lot. We would go for breakfast, lunch, or tea and afterward go shopping together. We would advise each other what to buy and what would suit them. Sometimes we would catch a movie too.
I am hoping that after we all are vaccinated against covid and the cases are on the decline, we can make plans again.
What is one thing you’d do when you can go out freely?
Please share your thoughts in the comments or you can write your own post and link it to this.
Thanks for visiting and reading.

First and foremost, my kids and friends will be getting the kind of hugs that will border on creepy! LOL Second, leaving the house for no other reason than I’ve had enough of being cooped up will be incredible! Although I feel I’m more like a hermit, it’s been difficult being restricted pretty much to one location.

Yes, hugs are one thing that is missing from our lives. And going out without reason was a way of life before covid hit us. I hope Susi that you can do these things sooner rather than later. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Go away for a few days. We haven’t had a proper holiday for years, though had plenty of camping holidays with Maggie. We are hoping to be able to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with a short holiday, but it all depends on the vaccine rollout and how things progress. Might not be able to do anything until our 31st.

I do hope that you can celebrate it in style. Hope you will be able to get the vaccine in time. Thanks Di for sharing your thoughts

We probably won’t get the vaccine until towards the end of the year, if then, but if we can’t get away this year, we’ll have a special dinner at home. It won’t go unmarked anyway.

Yes, and it is indeed perplexing that the two most developed countries in the world are the worst hit.

IMO only because of bad handling. It could have been a different story if the borders had been closed from the beginning. But money came first.

Bad handling is a reason and. I think lack of leadership too.

yep. Money over people’s health and safety every time. We have no credible leaders IMO

Visiting my mom and sisters in Los Angeles. That’s first. Then? Well, get on another plane and see my best friend in AZ, and then? Get one another plane, and…. See people and places I dearly miss. Thanks for the prompt, Sadje. 😊

I’m going to the beach! I want to rent a room at the hotel and spend a couple days wandering around my favorite beach.
I *could* go now, or once we’re off the latest “stay at home” order, but I haven’t gone out of respect to the people who live there.
Can’t wait to be at the Ocean again… I miss it so much!!

I hope you can go soon. It would be more pleasant in a couple of months and then you can enjoy the beach 🏖 more. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Angie
