I’m employing a reverse strategy for the last prompt in this year.

An ode to the human spirit

We crib, we complain

But when it becomes plain

That there is no way out, we do

Adjust, tighten our belts and make do

Christmas celebrations were put under severe restrictions

Yet people still found ways to be with their families

They managed to spread joy, share happiness and love

Singing lips behind masks, smiling eyes conveying

Their joy at still being alive and able to celebrate
