Looking up in the evening sky I saw them flying southbound
The three birds, a family ready to follow the path
That countless generation had taken before them
The path ingrained in their genetic memory, that ensures
Their survival, and continuance of the species
Each and every day nature works to preserve its balance
Seamlessly, in a harmonious way day after day, year after year

Birds are amazing creatures that is for certain. Yesterday I saw a huge V of geese. I was always fascinated too by the migration of Monarch Butterflies. The first time I saw a photo of a tree just covered with them I was amazed.
Thanks for continuing to host WDYS. Stay safe and healthy!
