Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge #95

Welcome to “Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge.”

The image below is from Forgottenx at DeviantArt.For the visually challenged writer, the photo shows the shadow of a person who is on the other side of a translucent curtain and is cutting through the curtain with a pair of scissors.

I am tired of being segregated

You are on the other side, keeping me here

Am I not good enough to mix with you and your

My color is different so I should be different too

I speak another language so you think I am beneath you

I want to rip out all these barriers and walls between us

We all are members of the same human race

Let’s celebrate our differences instead of using them

To cause divide amongst ourselves

  1. We ARE all human, and we ALL just want to live and love and be happy. The minor differences in culture are eays to learn new things, eat new foods, wear new clothes. I agree with your poem, Sadje. We should celebrate our differences!💕🌈💃🏼✨
