Questions:
What’s the tallest building you’ve been to the top of?
I think it was a hotel when we went to Saudi Arabia, in Makkah. But since I am not very good at judging heights the space needle in Seattle may have been the highest.
What do you do to keep fit?
I walk!
It has become my favorite pastime and exercise routine. I am walking less since I came back to Pakistan but I still manage 1:30- 1:45 hours a day. Along with this, I try to relax mentally as that is very important for health. And blogging keeps me relaxed.
What’s your jack-o-lantern carved to look like?
I haven’t ever carved one!
Do you have hope or have you lost it?
Much to the annoyance of people around me, I am always hopeful. It is a part of my personality and even when I am feeling down, it raises its head and I start to feel its buoyancy. There is no reason to lose hope if we keep on counting our blessings.
GRATITUDE QUESTION:
Feel free to share something you’re grateful for! Images and photos or poems, essays, or free writing (stream of consciousness) pieces are all acceptable! AND you don’t have to do this part, it’s always optional!
I am happy that summer is finally over in my part of the world. We are not using air conditioners anymore. The air is cooler and one can imagine the winter making its appearance soon. Life at home is good and this week my grandson is off from school with a midterm break!
This teddy bear is wearing a evil look in honor of Halloween. 👻🎃😹

You’ve never carved a Jack-O-Lantern? Well, now you have something to look forward to (if you ever desire.) It’s tradition in my family to roast the pumpkin seeds while we carve. We do two kinds, olive oil and rosemary & the other one is cinnamon sugar. I highly recommend both! Nice to get to know you a little better, Sadje!!

I didn’t, though I like pumpkin seeds. It’s not a thing in my culture.

Thank you so much Sadje for Sharing Your World! I’m glad to know a few persons (via WordPress) that are upbeat and hopeful! Here’s my hope that you never lose that quality…it’s very precious as well as rare! How gloomy life would be if we were all negative, hmm? I think your walking effort is amazing and congratulations on doing it every day! So encouraging! I apologize for not thinking more globally when I shared that jack-o-lantern question, you’re the 2nd to remind me that not every country has the pre-occupation with Halloween that America does. It’s all good though. Have a fabulous week!

Thanks Melanie. No worries about the pumpkin question as it is almost Halloween there. It takes a lots of different people to make a wonderful community and we all learn from each other. Thanks, I hope your well is great too.

That bear does look like it’s hiding something… 😂😂
I hate carving pumpkins. The icky slimy messy…🤢 I leave it for my daughters.
Do you guys have a Fall holiday similar to Halloween or a Harvest holiday?

Yup, all the fur is brushed inwards to make the eyes look mean!
No we don’t have anything d similar to Halloween, though some kids and schools do celebrate it, or used to before COVID. It’s not a part of our culture.
