In my dream, I was standing in a field of maize
Where late swathes were harvested into bales
I knew I was sleeping yet it felt so very real
As I tried to open my eyes I couldn’t wake up
I then inspected the huge bales of cut wheat
Like I am judging merchandise for buying
If I speculate at the meaning of this strange dream
I cannot come up with any reasonable explanation
Other than the feeling that my brain is being stalked
By my subconscious mind to give in to the idea
Of a vacation away from the hustle-bustle of the city
To quiet green fields in some serene hilly resort

lol it might be fictional for the prompts … but I think it’s your subconscious telling you to do it Sadje 🙂

You’re right, after a spell in the busy city life, one craves the quiet of somewhere secluded.
