So here is the picture for this week:
“… after that, he had to make his way all down the parade to the West Pier” – Brighton Rock, Graham Greene.
He sat on the ledge and saw the humansmilling around in dozens. Some were in the water while others were enjoying themselves on the beach. To his wise eyes, this all looked foolish. Why were they willing to take the risk of falling sick and dying just because they craved fun?
He briefed his team that after his observations, saying that there was no hope for these people. After that, he had to make his way all down the parade to the West Pier, where they were waiting to pick him up. If people saw him walking down that sandy beach, they dismissed him as just another pigeon looking for something to eat. Little did they know that in the guise of harmless birds, he and his team were planning to invade this planet and rid it of these stupid humans. Who weren’t fit to live here at all.
I am writing to express my opinion, share my experiences and to maybe provide some insight. My blog is addressing women at 50 ( but men are welcome to read my posts) ,their issues and the questions that come up at this stage in life. I don’t aim to teach, but to learn together.
