TODAY’S QUESTION
What distracts you from blogging? Apart from family and work (unless yours is a business blog) what factors or forces prevent you from creating content?
~*~*~*~
Family and work do cause distraction. And it is nearly impossible to work when you have to pay attention to either or both of them. So I don’t even try to blog when there is an impending task or when I am surrounded by my kids/ grandkids.
Other than that, loud conversations, news( which is usually irritating), people trying to ask or tell me things usually throw me off my stride and I cannot write anything creative. I do and can read blogs and answer to comments when something is going around me, but to write, I need some peace and quiet. At least that much where I can think!
My usual time for blogging, especially writing is early morning or just before bedtime. It’s when I am by myself and can spend a few minutes thinking and writing. And carrying on from that, anytime I am by myself and have my phone with me, I take that opportunity to create content for my blog. Sometimes it works so well that I can write and pre-schedule many posts in one day.

Kids and grandkids are VERY distracting and mine don’t respect the importance of the blog. They don’t understand how important it is in my life.🙄

It’s good to have an established routine for blogging.
I guess that is a good way of working around distractions.
