Linda is the host of Stream Of Consciousnesses Saturday

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “container.” Use the word “container” any way you’d like. Or think about a container of some kind and write about it. Enjoy!

What is my mind if not a container?
It saves all my memories and experiences in it
All that I have ever thought and imagined lives in my mind
My pain and sorrow, my joy and happiness, all contained
My tears and my laughter, my worries and my relief
It stores the beautiful and the ugly, faithfully so that I can
Recall and relive my prized moments and my agonies all over again
I try to keep this container locked against any leakage
I want to retain my good and not so good memories
And not lose them to old age, disease, and neglect

My container is a sieve. All kinds of stuff falls out.😂😂💕

Haha! I try not to let them fall out. They hide here and there but they are all inside there, somewhere.

Ah, the memory capacity of the human brain – a storage bin – lots of remembrances – great post!

Thanks Gina. It just feels that way. The memories we think are lost, surface up unexpectedly.
