POETIC PROSE
Ok, so I needed to google this one and Wikipedia provides the following definition:
Prose poetry is written as prose, without the line breaks associated with poetry. However, it makes use of poetic devices such as fragmentation, compression, repetition, rhyme, metaphor, and figures of speech.
Now that seems a bit much in 42 words so I’m widening the definition and in this instance anything which has an imaginative or sensitively emotional style of expression will do.

I hold your hand and ask you to lead me in life for you’re the only one I have learned to trust with all my heart I know that I could never find anyone as sincere as you in this world, mom!

Very interesting definition. I always thought poetic prose is a story written with a bit of rhythm.
