When there is no space or land available to house the population which is growing in leaps and bounds, civil engineers have come up with a unique idea of floating apartments. They reach several stories into the sky and have just a minimal ground base.

I can’t imagine… I’m spoiled. I lived in a small 10 unit apartment for a year and hated it! I’ve lived in houses too long.

I like smaller space as it is easier to keep clean and manage. But I want more bathrooms!

I dont mind small space, our house isnt big. I just cant live surrounded by so many people. Having neighbors is one thing, having them on every side… I’d get claustrophobic and overwhelmed. I’d be a terrible bee😂🐝

I haven’t lived like that either. We always had independent houses. Except in Seattle we loved in apartments. But they weren’t overwhelmingly close.

Wow! That photo is just so incredible! And I love how you used the prompt to imagine a real estate offer!

eally is surreal to me – of course we have a lot of space in most places in Canada, even our cities are not quite that full!

Indeed. Some places on the planet are so overly populated that it’s a real problem there.

I feel for the people who have to live on top of one another. But I guess if that is your reality you are used to it….maybe?

I read a few years ago of people living in cage like structures in Tokyo. A mere 6 by 8 space! Can you imagine that.

How awful! No, I don’t even want to try to imagine it.

I think I will pass. I will live no higher than the towns fire truck can reach.
