And the Words: “Isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?”—Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery

Marie looked around at her inheritance. There wasn’t much to it. The house was a derelict building, in bad repair. The best thing about this property was the vast green land surrounding it. She was glad that great-aunt Gladys had left her this home. She had some money saved up and will turn this into a nice bed and breakfast. She had made a lot of mistakes in life but as she always told herself, isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?

She was excited to begin this adventure!

  1. Another well written response to the prompt. I recently read a book about the life of Lucy Maud Montgomery. I always loved the Anne of Green Gables series. She sure is one of Canada’s well-loved treasures.
