Sue Vincent is the host of Thursday Photo Prompt
This week’s prompt ~ Crescent
For visually challenged writers, the image shows the dark silhouette of a tree against a cloudy sky. The horizon is lit by the gold of dawn, while a crescent moon hangs above the tree.
Hope
The long night is finally over
And as I look towards the east
I can see the moon, a sign of hope
A sign that the troubled dark time is over
The crescent-shaped moon lit up like a beacon
Beckons the soul to soar, the spirit to fly
Shed the gloom, smile and look up to the sky
Each day brings a new promise
A promise of treasures yet to be revealed
The map of the future yet to unfold

I read someplace once that no matter what happens you can always restart your day as many times as you need to… this poem speaks of that same hope. Nicely done!
