Thinly veiled insinuations
Hidden meanings to innocuous words
It may seem that I am missing the point
But it’s my choice to ignore this baited barb
Time and again I am reminded of your true nature
I am following the legacy of my predecessors
When I choose to take the high road
Instead to falling down to your level
Hate is not my way, ignoring the offender works better
In response to the following prompts;
YDWP;
FOWC;
RDP;
Word of the day challenge;
FDDA;

Sometimes it takes a lot of strength not to say anything.

Haha, same with me! I win plenty of arguments after the fact, though. π

It takes a lot of effort to take the high road. But holding on to hate can take a lot of effort too. A beautiful use of the prompts, my dear

It does but I am the type who really cannot reply back to nasty comments anyway so it easy to stay quiet.

Youβre right. Itβs better to stay silent than to regret an outburst.
