Glen is the host of LTPP
It’s time for Week 9.
This week’s is a really good one.
The creative goal for all of us is “what does the picture evoke in you; what emotion; feeling; memory or whatever it may be – what does it arouse in you and to share it that with others.“

Our Week 9 selection was taken just on the edge of Parry Sound, ON.
Parry Sound is part of what is generally referred to as The 30,000 Islands Region of Ontario. Why ? Well, there is just about 30,000 island in this area of Georgian Bay and this guy is standing on one of them.

I am the king and this is my world
It may be minuscule but it is mine
The is no feeling comparable to this
Being the ruler of all that I see!

On such a small kingdom, I think even two would be a crowd! 😂

Definitely that last line is epic. Unbelievably there are days now I would opt for being on that is,and alone.

I love your poem. 🤗🥰
The picture and the thought of 30,000 islands makes me feel sad though… 30,000 people in their own “lands” separated… it’s kinda what the world has become. They need bridges, or zip lines 😉😆

Thanks Angie. You’re so right. We are fragmented! Do need bridges

For some reason this takes me back to my childhood during snowy winters there would always be a pile of snow on the playground where we would play king of the mountain. Great job Sadje!
