At the behest of our literature group
I have a request if you could be so benevolent
Please remove the high taxation from reading material
You want people to read more not less
As reading is a joy that lifts the despondency
The crop of words sowed into fertile minds
Produces a harvest of educated minds
This regime is authoritarian but I do hope there is
Someone here with a few partials of sensibility
In response to the following prompts;
YDWP;
3TC;
FOWC;
RDP;
Word of the day challenge;
#Keepitalive
#DailyPrompts
This is an awesome knitting of prompts. Nicely done!

You are welcome.
That’s so sweet of you to say! Since I don’t write everyday these days, I have moved to weekly prompts. Sometimes the various prompts gel, sometimes they don’t. But I will soon write a multi- prompt poem, I promise. โค๏ธ

Thanks a lot! The books in US are really expensive. Even the ebooks.

Even ebooks? Kindle unlimited is great.

It is but it comes with a monthly subscription too.

Oh yes, that’s there. But for someone like me who consumes books every 1-2 days, it works out very well ๐

Thatโs true. My reading has gone down drastically since Iโve started blogging.

Mine too. But now, I’ve managed to strike A balance.

ha reading should be nearly free … great use of the prompts!

I so agree with you. There shouldnโt be a price tag on knowledge.

but the authors do need some reward ๐ฆ

They do. But the government should tax the books.

books are quite expensive yet the author only gets ten percent … so it must cost a packet to produce!

Thatโs true. But not ebooks. The proceeds should go to the authors.

yes but the publishers take a leg and an arm … it’s why most authors go to indie publishing.

Youโd know as youโve published books.

Oh sorry I thought that you had your work published. May be you will one day?

lol not making any effort in that direction … I doubt people read poetry books much, it’s all on the net/blogs! Maybe a collection by several poets but I’m not good enough … yet Punam and Paul are very talented, they could pull it off ๐

A collaboration sounds good. I hope you can do it one day. There are many bloggers who have published poetry.

not my ambition Sadje … I’ll leave it to the talented ones who should be published ๐
