Sharing a post from 31 July 2019 as part of Fandango Friday Flashback
Beckie of Beckie’s Mentalmess has asked us a few questions about musicand music therapy. I have never had formal musictherapy but music no doubt is therapeutic.
Do you listen to music ( if/when) you meditate? If so, what kind of music do you listen to?
******
This my response to Beckie‘s Question;
Immersed in the sublimity of musical notes
I savor the nostalgia it evokes in my heart
Traveling back to my youth again
I feel overjoyed to hear these tunes
Which used to mean such a lot to me
The freedom which it gave my mind
To be there in that state where I leave
All that is bothering me at that moment
And to float free in a cloud of sublime feelings
Ah! The adoration of musical notes
Which has saved my sanity so many times

Same here. I emailed her but got no response. She was planning to move in the summer. I hope she is doing well!
