How technically savvy are you?
I used to think that I was quite tech-savvy! But that was before I had to deal with technical issues on my laptop. I guess with age my patience has worn thin and I get frustrated too easily when faced with technical difficulties.
Did you launch and set up your blog on your own or did you need help with it?
A very good friend of mine helped me with the initial setup process. She told me about importing images, putting in links, and also with the theme of my blog. Later on I learned a little to manage on my own. But I still am hesitant about it all and very rarely make any changes to my blog pages.
Do you feel that it is more important to have a flair for writing or have good computer skills to be a successful blogger?
Blogging is a two-pronged process. You need enough tech know-how to get you through the technical aspect of blogging. But the mainstay would always be the writing for me. If I cannot write something well enough for others to understand, relate to, or enjoy, all the technical expertise won’t be of any help.
