Michael is our host for Sunday Writing Prompt this week.
This week as we are all under some sort of lockdown, stay at home, shelter in place I invite you to write your thoughts at this time.
What are you doing to stay sane?
What would you like to be doing?
Your response can be your own story or simply a piece of fiction.

Lockdown to stay safe shouldn’t be such a hardship as it’s made out to be.
If the choice is to stay home for a while and stay healthy versus going out and about and run the risk of getting this disease, which is proving fatal for many, I would choose to stay put!
I do understand that it is;
Inconvenient
Limiting
Boring
Depressing
And it may mean going slightly bonkers with all the family cooped up in the house for weeks.
But looking at the alternative, I’d still choose lockdown.
There are many facilities that we can avail during this time;
Staying connected to work
Keeping in touch with family and friends
Benefiting from the lineup of thousands of movies and shows available for viewing
Shopping online
So for me, it’s a no-brainer!
Stay in and stay healthy.

Good post. I think most people here either relaxed or put their guard down and that’s what’s dangerous and causing the resurgence of the virus.

Thanks a lot! I agree with you. It’s not the time to give up or give in. Keep the guard up.

Most people followed the rules here. Then they saw people in the government break them. One Rule for us, one for them. Now those following the rules are in the minority.

And that effects everyone badly.

It’s our only defence right now. And I hope that more people would stick to the rules. At least for the sake of those of us who have to go out for work.

Absolutely right! I cannot for the life of me get those who object to wearing masks!
