Driving my car in those days of yore
I felt as if I had stepped into a magical chariot
It would take me seamlessly to my destination
I didn’t have to cajole or beg for favors
Just a discreet pressure on the paddle and off I went
Enjoying the rush of hot air in winter days
Or blast of cooling waves in summer drives
Sadly it has become a little passé with time
The novelty and wonder faded with constant exposure
How I would like to rekindle that sense of awe and wonder

This is the best time to drive. The roads are less crowded and less likely to annoy our impatience hormone. I hope your love for driving gets rekindled. Great job with all the prompts, Sadje.

Thanks Shweta! You’re absolutely right! With fewer cars on the road, driving is more enjoyable.

Thanks Punam! I hope so too. Self driving is now preferable that being driven by a driver.
