Daily Prompts- Teaching Grandma

He is a sweet boy

Precocious for his age

Knows far more about computers

Than I can ever hope to equal

He is always trying to educate me

I listen keenly, tuning in to all the technical lingo

Sometimes incurring his rightful indignation

When I fail to grasp a finer technical point

We move to our own space till he is over the mad

Something would tickle his funny bone and he would smile again

Back to teaching grandma computers again

Tuning, Mad, Tickle

Word of the day challenge;

  1. Cute use of the prompts!๐Ÿฅฐ
    I bet that you learned at lot during your time as the “teacher” for your grandson. Technology especially, changes so quickly, it’s difficult to keep up. Kids would laugh at us now to hear that programming the clock on the VCR used to be the “big problem”.๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

    1. Oh yes! I am often accused of not listening, not paying attention or for not remembering. And then he would say that it is useless trying to teach me things. But after a bit he would be back, teaching grandma. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ

  2. This is so true! The kids just seem to automatically know how to do computer stuff. I’m glad they do! I remember when the electric typewriter was our cutting edge of technology haha! ๐Ÿ™‚
