ode

What is an ode?

a lyric poem, typically one in the form of an address to a particular subject, written in varied or irregular metre.

a classical poem of a kind originally meant to be sung.

For the purpose of this prompt consider your ode can be written as both poetry and prose.

Write an ode to something meaningful in your life.

What is the most important thing in my life

The free will given to me to choose my path

Do right or go wrong I have the freedom to make a decision

This is my test in life for I was given a mind to think

All my decisions are extremely important as a lot rests on them

The outcome depends on my choices and I am entrusted

With a great responsibility when I was given a free will
