Welcome to Share Your World!

Questions:

In your opinion, what’s the closest thing to real magic?

In my opinion, magic happens when we really open our eyes and look around us. This world is a beautiful and magical place, but buried under the mundane of everyday life.

How flowers grow in spring, new leaves sprouting, the banks of clouds bringing rain to land parched in heat, children being born and became their own persons.

It’s all magical, we just need to see.

Where is the worst smelling place you’ve been?

This takes me back to my med school days. The first day we stepped into the morgue, it was this smell that I could never get over.

What are some things that you’ve heard in your own life, which sounded like compliments but were actually insults?

“Oh you look better than I saw you last, I’m glad you’ve lost all that weight”

“You don’t look your age “

“The dress you were wearing the other night looked so good on you better than this one”

And the list goes on and on!

What incredibly common thing have you never done?

I never learned to swim. It is incredible but I don’t know how.

Gratitude Section;

As I shared on my blog, 5th July was my 35th wedding anniversary. I am very grateful for having a good married life with my wonderful husband. And was overwhelmed by the love and good wishes that my blogging family showered on me.

Thank you all!

  1. May I add my congratulations to the list? Thirty five years is something to celebrate!! Wow! Thanks Sadje for Sharing Your World, Formaldehyde and dead bodies are indeed an unforgettable and really nasty stink. I’ve only been around one dead body (hubby’s) , to view and verify it was indeed him they had in their morgue, prior to their doing his cremation. I’ve been to over a dozen funerals in my life though, and i don’t recall that hubby smelled bad (he hadn’t had time to start decaying yet I don’t think), but he was ice cold to the touch. That really brought it home that he was actually dead. Your view of the world is pretty magical too, you know! Not many have the ‘eyes to see’ the miracles and magic of our planet and nature! 🙂

      Yeah, I cannot forget that smell of the place where postmortems were being performed.
