Tale Weaver – #278 – Dirty Windows – June 4th.

Michael is the host of Tale Weaver

Dirty Windows are a fact of life. Some windows we constantly clean and some we don’t.

Write this week your response to what you might see through your windows, perhaps the unclean and then the clean.

There is a layer of dust and grime

Covering the once pristine surfaces

I look through these grimy windows

And all I can see is dirt and ugliness

It is the fault of all the accumulated dirt

That my view is obscured and distorted

It would take some effort and labor

To wash out the grime of ages and clean

The glass through which I see and observe the world

But without this effort, I am stuck behind

This grime laden view, much like the bias

That some people wear over their minds

The blinkers which stop them from seeing

That we all are equal, we all are important

That grime and this dirt both are optional

Both can be rid of, with a bit of hard work and thought

(Borrowed from a friend’s Facebook page)
