Fandango’s Provocative Question #72- Something Exciting!

FPQWelcome once again to Fandango’s Provocative Question.

For this week’s provocative question I’m going to try to shift your focus from the depressing to the exciting by asking you this simple question:

What is the one thing in life that you are most excited about right now? Why?

~*~

As Fandango has said himself that these are depressing times. With the pandemic on one side and social unrest on the other, it is difficult to get excited about things.

But being the resilient and optimistic person that I am, I try to find the silver lining in the proverbial cloud.

I feel excited about my personal achievement of losing weight steadily. I now weigh less than I have weighed in the last ten years. For me, who has had to struggle with extra weight all my adult life, reaching this weight is a great milestone. I do plan on losing more and am happy if the scale keeps on moving backward, even if slowly and gradually.

Another exciting thing to look forward to is going home to my hubby when things are better here in Seattle. This going home will be a big change as my daughter’s Doctorate degree is finally nearing its end. She will also be moving back! So we will leave the US of A and go home to Pakistan. As I said a big change. Hopefully, my daughter and grandson will adjust quickly.

    1. Thanks a lot Fandango. Yes I will continue to blog. It’s my favorite thing to do. Just the timings may be different. Though I schedule my posts for the maximum number of people to read, and most of my readers are here in the US!

  1. Good job on the weight loss! The stress from the virus and then the horrific death on George Floyd and all the violence that followed… I have been doing a lot of stress eating. I hope to return to “normal” one of these days.
