So here is the picture for this week:
And the Words: ‘So which one am I supposed to be?’ I said. ‘The shooter, the maniac or the idiot who hid the body?’ – The Killing Floor by Lee Child.
“So which one am I supposed to be?’ I said. ‘The shooter, the maniac or the idiot who hid the body?”
I asked my agent, quite irked.
“Speak up Mason, if it’s bad new, I want it straight up. No good beating about the bush!”
“The dead body”
Mason’s words deflated my pride and ego all the way. It was true that I had passed the zenith of my stardom but if they wanted me to play the dead guy, they had another thing coming.
But I had to pay my bills so I gave in, reluctantly.
