Alright, I cave in!

All this staying at home is getting to me. And then people have nothing else to do but push delicious sounding recipes at your face!

Bread, coffees, cakes biscuits…….

You name it and it’s right there. Scrumptious goodies and amazing pictures of them staring at you on all social media platforms.

What is a person got to do but succumb to the pressure? Try out that new bread, oh wait you cannot get yeast for money or love or even with the bribe of a couple of rolls of toilet paper! Well call your neighbor and borrow some. And when you’ve baked that yummy bread what next?

Obviously, you have to eat it. That’s the worst part of making good food. You eat it because it’s good and because you’ve nothing else going on.

So the cave-in is going to cost me. Lots more walks needed and if I make that Korean latte or that apple cake….. I don’t think I’ll be able to fit into my clothes anymore!

  1. I think I may have also put on a couple of pounds… but I’m also trying to put in 10,000 steps a day.
Usually just a little bit more or about 5 miles in walking. Ten miles used to be the goal… but I’ve slacked off a tad.

  2. I was thinking along the same lines too. But I have started going to work. With no public transport, I have to walk the 3km to my office and back everyday. So looks like I’m going to shed all that I have gained over the lockdown period.
