“Enough of nomadic existence” they’d say

Time to settle down and get into the rat race, eh?

“Follow the traditions“, be what they want you to be

But I don’t care for that empty life I’ll tell you

The two points of views cannot converge, I think

Let’s make a truce I say

I will call home once in a way

And if you pick the phone on the first ring

We can have a chat about how my life is going

And what’s happening in yours

But other than that, let me be free to live

My life as I like, not as you think I should
